About me

Hello!

I’m Elinor Battersby, a writer and illustrator living in a small town in Bedfordshire in the UK.

I have a wonderful husband and two fantastic children. When I’m not having adventures with my family I spend as much time as I can writing and drawing. 
I’ve always dreamed of making books and when I was pregnant I wrote the story Star Fishing. After that life with twin boys really took over but once they started sleeping through the night I launched my illustration business Perks Of Life and I completed Star Fishing. 
Since then I haven’t stopped!

I’m constantly teeming with book ideas and love nothing more than seeing them come to life on paper.
